2.5 D - Space

Have been doing nothing but waiting for Dave’s pirated 3DS Max 9 +_+. Downloading in progress, dunno how many percent left since he is sinking in Battlefield. Lots of things to be listed in to-do-list … Dave’s working style somehow motivates me to stay out of stuff that is dragging me away from my goal. Being neither rushy nor chilling, my neighbor buddy keeps his knowledge advance gradually.

Trip to Zeer seems disappointing since haven’t got things wanted. Spoiled mouse is under customer service yet one week to be paused for collecting a brand new. Attempts on finding a set of “in English” Max 9 tutorial DVDs failed to succeed. Actually just need 2 advanced tutorials on Reactor and Landscape Rendering but have seen none. Just know that Maya has a similar function group name Dynamic, that is equivalent to Max’s Reactor. Anyway Maya sucks in terms of script allowance, Max now even supports Java script to some extent 555 . Here comes today’s taste.

Projecting a n D-space object to a lessen (n-1) D- system, we need n views. Recent multimedia has brought up such advertising terms as 3D-miracles, 3D-hi-end tech, 3 + 1D, etc , yet there is a ruthless truth that human vision only supports pseudo-3D images. That blocks all the gates to explore abstract geometry no matter how good we are at analytic algebra. In deed, 2 biological eyes only provide human-being 2D-stereo views those are “read” and combined into faked 3D scenes by a “graphic card” located somewhere in the physical brain. That’s why ordinary people without psychological eye(s) see nothing but a pseudo 3D world. Experienced yogists and some lucky talented individuals have more spatial sense based on their enhanced visions. Since our poor geometry and technology haven’t reached that far, we label those phenomena as supernatural, once we got it, we call it … science.

Theoretically, people or machines, esp. AI robots those can sense real 3D- images of course will have an instantaneous sense of 4D- world by projecting it onto 4 views. So far I know integrated imaging as the best tech that allow a machinery system to assist a human being to sense true 3D-space, pseudo 4D-space and more.

Enough for a long extension . lol. WORK … harder … due to being the lowest, unluckiest race in the universe.
