Which Tool is the Talisman of Awakening ?

Humans, along with many animals, have claimed to have the ability to see three-dimensional objects, through the use of stereoscopic vision. Ouch, that’s the gap. In fact, mortal brains see flat layers, yet, some nerves in there combine ‘em up and convince the busy mind ‘voi la’.

While most folks treasure that and enjoy their pseudo 3D-world, some indigo geeks like me pity that. It was absolutely a downgrade even though some of us (indigo beings) argue that it is normal for human not to evolve to winged-beast since they could manipulate flights. Still, no matter how cutting-edge the technology could evolve (we ARE entering the age of cloud computing and holographic visualization), a lot are choosing to meditate to acquire the premium visual aid.

In terms of sentience, human-beings are so behind compared to those present on Earth around the days when the Cyclops thrived. Back then, they wouldn’t know what the heck quantum or relativism is but they understood the ambient universe better than any modern human, simply because of they had better Tools.

I can’t recall how exactly the beings of Atlantis fell but there are sayings that they failed to develop in “the right (spiritual) way”. Thus day by day, I am wondering if I am hitting a déjà vu. Techs surely drew man’s dawn but can bring the dusk anytime. Imminent techs are seen to solve less than they hint trouble so it sounds too luxurious to always name them “Tools”.

If I can play God who is likely to be bored out of the mediocre galactic fun, I might as well rather seed a race with less bio-advantages but more aggressions and watch them struggle to cope with surroundings than play with a peaceful bio-perfect race with fully-awakened sentient intelligence, coz chaos is always more of fun than patterned set.

First rule: almost all of characters remain unaware of higher level of sentience and consciousness, thus for man: no alien. I must not block it all coz that’d be the worst optimization to my chaotic goal. Droplets of truth are rewarded to who with balanced ego and super-ego (perhaps Freud himself did not get any then). The trade-off for these mavericks is humiliation and banish from majority.

Second rule: Tools are dynamic. In other words, they are stochastic by themselves if you spread them over time-space. This serves nothing but to maximize my fun despite troubling me a bit with tedious coding. Tools are unsharable, in other words, “Dao is nameless” -Verse  1 - Dao De Jing. Tools must be account-possessed, something like a How-To book is a joke, seriously coz the system will not be fooled that innocent way.

Third rule: worlds are so well-looped that each individual could cross over their experience of being at two places at one time or vice versus. This assures the endless diversity and continuity of lives. This also means there are games inside games, there are mortals inside immortals and there are me inside them. Look, as hi-tech God, I ain’t looking at the tape, I enjoy live show ! And may that be the way the Tools are hinted ?

An effort could be defined as a highly conscious exertion of power or simply, just a serious attempt to achieve a target success.

The easiest classification of efforts are based on the resulting effects, which means ineffective efforts and effective efforts. Ineffective efforts are failed attempts on completing a task. Adjustment is required so the task might be made up successfully under another effective efforts. For those who are on a short-term goal, effective efforts appears as a set of tactic actions that result in immediate noticeable changes. For instance, a college freshman try to adapt the new study environment by changing his learning methodology, that could be timetable control, subject distribution, etc. On the contrary, those pursuing a long term-goal need to put their best efforts on strategic decisions. Indeed, such decision-making at certain critical points may affect their whole career or even the surrounding society as a chain consequence. For example, a city mayor approves a planning project on river navigation reinforcements. The effect of this policy would not be visible shortly, yet its contribution is undeniable over the next generations.

Another way to categorize efforts are based on its popularity. Well, there are, indeed, both well-known amazing efforts and forgotten devoting efforts. A street artist may sample the first case with a twinkling grafiti work on the main route wall in the centre of a city. Obviously, amazing efforts go with glory, victory, honor and wealth that can be found in stock dealers, rock stars, or sport players recently. On the other hand, devoting efforts are performed silently, even with neither cheering encouragement nor materialistic supports. Scientists, army sodiers in special forces, etc mostly represent this case. There are thousands of significant discoveries each year, however, there are just a few awards like Nobel, and hardly noticed by the world media. Who cares about those geologists that prove a geological thesis about earth origin lately ? And Stephen Hawking is less popular than Tom Hanks. Such comparisons above just show the characteristics of these two kinds of efforts.

To conclude, the awarded bounty shall deserve the effort makers with a view to encouraging more contribution ; yet there is always triggered leech in every society. To succeed is to risk, yet to put an effort means not to risk but to earn either experience or achievement.
